COURAGE
It abounds in the spring.
The cold blustery north wind continues to bring its wrath to the land.
Despite the bitter chill, our heroic little crocus courageously breaks out of its protective shell. It springs forth through ice and even snow, keeping its promise to herald the coming of spring.
How many would be courageous enough to do this?
Others arrive later, following the crocus’s lead. But these beauties, the daffodils, cherry blossoms, tulips and others, who shiver in the chilly winds, are followers not leaders.
Only our brave little crocus deserves this springtime honour.
